At Royal FloraHolland, you’ll work as a logistics employee — a key player in our supply chain. In this role, you'll drive a small electric cart through the distribution hall with a trailer full of flowers or plants behind you. Your job is to deliver these to the correct locations in one of our large distribution areas. Each cart in the hall represents a specific buyer. Using a voice system or a handheld scanner, you'll find out which buyer you're delivering to and how many items they’ve purchased. It's up to you to make sure every order reaches the right customer.

Your workday starts bright and early at 6:00 AM — perfect for early risers! You begin your day with a nice cup of coffee or tea, then gather your gear: work shoes (which we provide!), your headset or scanner, and your electric cart. Once you're ready, you'll check in with your team leader for the daily briefing, where you’ll hear about the day's specifics, how many carts are expected, and the estimated end time. This end time varies from day to day, but typically falls between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM, leaving your afternoons free to enjoy!

If you work five days a week, your hours will range between 15 and 25 per week. The start time is always 6:00 AM, with flexible end times — usually between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM.

Aalsmeer is the largest location of Royal FloraHolland, covering an area as large as 200 football fields! It’s truly a one-of-a-kind place to work. Since Actief Werkt! In-house is based at Royal FloraHolland, you can always drop by to speak with us during your break or after your shift.
