At Royal FloraHolland, you'll work as a logistics employee, playing a key role in our logistics process. You'll drive an electric cart through the hall, carrying a load of flowers or plants behind you. Your job is to deliver these items to the right locations in our large distribution areas. Each cart in these areas represents a different customer. Through your headset or scanner, you'll receive instructions on which customer to serve and what they’ve ordered. You’ll ensure that each order reaches the right destination.

Your workday begins at 6:00 AM — ideal for those who love starting early! You'll kick off your day with a coffee or tea and gather the necessary equipment: work shoes (which we provide!), your headset or scanner, and your electric cart. Then, you’ll check in with your team leader for a brief meeting to go over the day's tasks, the number of carts to process, and the expected end time. The end time varies each day, typically between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM, leaving your afternoons free for other activities!

If you work five days a week with us, you’ll log between 15 and 25 hours per week. You’ll always start at 6:00 AM and typically finish before noon.

Through Actief Werkt!, you’ll join the team as a logistics employee at the Aalsmeer location, the largest site of Royal FloraHolland. This location spans about 200 football fields! Working at this unique location offers an exceptional experience. Since Actief Werkt! InHouse is present on the floor, you can always stop by during your break or after your shift — we’re here to support you!
