The Role
As a Senior Project Engineer you will manage large projects, including introducing new products into packaging and upgrading warehousing and utilities. You will handle all technical and engineering aspects, planning, scheduling, and managing tasks for their assigned projects.
Responsibilities
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Manage the technical scope from design to commissioning, working with contractors.
- Oversee contractor safety, compliance, and document control.
- Coordinate installation and upgrades (packaging lines, HVAC, utilities, warehouses).
- Assist in cost estimates, progress tracking, RFQs, work permits, and obtaining permits.
- Provide technical support, resolve conflicts, and participate in project meetings.
- Bachelor's or Master's in HVAC, construction engineering, or related field.
- 5-10 years in a similar pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, with experience in facility engineering projects.
- Fluent in Dutch and English (oral and written).
- Willing to work outside office hours, strong communication, project management, and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail, self-motivated, and on-site work required.
