Role Overview
Seeking an Biotechnician to support daily animal care and research operations. Responsibilities include ensuring the well-being of animals, performing biotechnical procedures, maintaining accurate records, and complying with GLP and GMP quality systems. Collaboration with cross-functional research teams is essential.
Key Responsibilities
-Provide daily care for animals and maintain clean, well-structured enclosures.
-Perform biotechnical procedures with respect for animal welfare, including the use of anesthesia when necessary.
-Accurately document animal data, observations, and procedural details.
-Read, understand, and follow SOPs, study protocols, and work instructions.
-Ensure all work complies with GLP and GMP quality systems.
-Independently conduct animal studies and monitor behavioral or health changes.
-Potentially supervise interns or temporary staff.
Requirements
-MBO-4 diploma in a relevant field.
-Completion of Article 13f biotechnician training (required).
-Strong affinity with animals and commitment to animal welfare.
-Goal- and result-oriented approach.
-Ability to communicate in English.
-Experience working in a team environment.
-Knowledge of GLP/GMP quality systems is a plus.
