The role
As a Logistics Account Manager, you will deliver customer-focused, end-to-end supply chain solutions for new and evolving products, optimizing logistics to align customer demands with internal capabilities. You will lead cross-functional teams, oversee market routes, and manage product transitions. In this role, you will play a key part in improving service delivery, building strong relationships, and driving the customer supply chain towards future growth and readiness.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders in logistics and supply chain.
  • Serve as the primary contact for customer supply chain issues (operational, technical, strategic).
  • Understand customer goals and translate them into actionable plans for logistics optimization.
  • Manage logistics aspects of innovation projects (new/existing products and customers).
  • Lead and support improvement projects with a focus on efficiency, sustainability, and service levels.
  • Track and report on logistics performance, identifying and addressing any discrepancies.
  • Proactively handle delivery issues and ensure follow-up on customer feedback.
  • Balance logistics costs with customer profitability (cost to serve).
  • Coordinate the monthly demand review and align with S&OP Hub to meet demand plans efficiently.
  • Ensure on-time, in-full delivery of key product portfolios, impacting business performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Supply Chain Management.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in account management or logistics.
  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes (Plan/Source/Make/Deliver).
  • Fluency in Dutch and English with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with different cultures.
  • Proactive, team player, critical thinker, and results-oriented.
