Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Specialist to ensure the safe and compliant execution of contracted activities for a global pharmaceutical company. This role requires expertise in EHS management, contractor safety, and continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
-Ensure compliance with EHS programs, regulatory requirements, and contractor safety management.
-Perform risk assessments, inspections, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
-Oversee safety training and adapt it to business needs.
-Align with F&E management to ensure contractor compliance with Amgen standards.
-Provide guidance on safety and environmental matters to management.
Requirements:
-Proven experience in EHS and contractor safety management.
-Bachelor’s degree in EHS, Engineering, Quality, or related field.
-Minimum qualification at MVK level (HVK preferred).
-5+ years of experience, preferably in pharmaceutical or high-tech manufacturing.
-Hands-on mentality and strong problem-solving skills.
-Ability to collaborate across departments and mentor teams.
-Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and change management.
-Strong organizational and leadership skills.
