Role Description
As a Senior Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer, you’ll lead electrical and instrumentation design, troubleshooting, and project execution for cutting-edge industrial and chemical operations. You’ll drive engineering excellence by delivering high-quality designs, managing project budgets and timelines, and collaborating across maintenance, operations, and R&D teams.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and justify detailed E&I design concepts.
Ensure compliance with local and international standards.
Lead project teams and external contractors through design to commissioning.
Manage budgets, schedules, and improvement initiatives.
Communicate engineering solutions to internal stakeholders.
Support plant reliability and performance improvements through proactive engineering solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, or similar.
7+ years of Industry experience (preferably (petro)chemical or industrial).
Strong knowledge of Codes & Standards (ATEX, EMC, IEC, NEN).
Affinity with instrumentation, electrical systems, and automation.
Skilled in safety systems (SIL, SIS) and process automation.
Fluent in Dutch and English; flexible, analytical, and customer-focused.
