The Role
As an All-round Maintenance Technician at our client's state-of-the-art pharmaceutical production facility in Leiden, you will ensure the reliability and efficiency of production and utility systems in a 24/7 shift regime. Your technical expertise directly supports the smooth production of life-changing, custom-made medicines. This is a hands-on, 100% on-site role within a collaborative, high-performing team.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and resolve malfunctions in production and utility systems, prioritizing tasks in coordination with operations.
Analyze complex technical issues and proactively share insights with colleagues and contractors.
Identify and implement improvements to maintenance processes to enhance system reliability and efficiency.
Ensure strict adherence to safety, GMP, and compliance standards during all maintenance activities.
Collaborate within a fixed shift team (3-4-3 rotation), consisting of 4–5 colleagues including utility operators and fellow technicians.
Requirements
MBO 4 working and thinking level, preferably in Electrical Engineering or Measurement and Control Technology.
Proven experience in a technical role within an industrial environment.
Skilled in diagnosing and resolving malfunctions quickly and effectively.
Strong focus on equipment uptime, safety, and risk reduction.
Fluent in Dutch and willing to work on-site in Leiden Open to working in a 24/7 rotating shift system.
