The internship

Are you a student in Innovation, Business, Marketing or Communication looking to work on impactful global initiatives? Join HEINEKEN’s Global Innovation & Beer Systems team and contribute to the way we enable markets to innovate in beer and beyond. This internship offers the chance to grow your skills in a dynamic, international setting while supporting the roll-out of innovation programs and digital platforms.

During your internship, you will support the deployment of global capability programs, contribute to internal platform restructuring, and assist in shaping the commercial and strategic presence of HEINEKEN’s draught beer systems. You’ll take on a variety of tasks ranging from communication and stakeholder engagement to logistical and analytical support.

You will work closely with colleagues across departments and regions, in a team that values entrepreneurial thinking, structure, and fresh perspectives.

During your internship you will get the opportunity to get to know HEINEKEN as a company, also outside your department. We give you the trust and freedom, so you can work like a real entrepreneur. We like to bring the outside world inside and therefore we embrace new, fresh ideas with enthusiasm. Of course, always with the guidance that is right for you.

The department

You will report to the Director Innovation and Beer Systems, and you will be positioned at the Global office in Amsterdam. The team consists of people with different nationalities who all share the same passion and drive for innovation and success.

The terms of employment

• Your starting date is 1 September 2025
• The internship is fulltime
• The duration of the internship is 6 months
• It is a practice-oriented internship
• You will be based in Amsterdam
• During your internship, you have the flexibility to work in a hybrid setup
• You will receive an internship fee of €650 gross pm based on 40 hours per week
• You will enjoy 2 vacation days per month (based on fulltime)
• If you do not have a student OV product, your commuting expenses will be fully reimbursed

We are looking for a proactive and curious student who is excited to contribute to global innovation initiatives in a dynamic, international environment. You are enrolled in a university throughout the internship period and have a genuine interest in how strategy, systems, and creativity come together to shape the future.

We believe that everyone has unique talents and are therefore looking for you!

• You are enrolled in a HBO or WO education in Business, Innovation, Marketing or a related field
• A strong command of the English language; additional languages are a plus
• You enjoy working across functions and cultures, and bring strong communication and organizational skills
• You are analytical, structured, and comfortable managing multiple tasks with a global perspective

Conditions of HEINEKEN

1. You are enrolled at an educational institution.
   1. In the case of non-EU nationality, you must be registered as an intern with a Dutch educational institution, from which we receive proof of enrollment for the current academic year from you.
   2. In case of EU nationality, you may also be registered as an intern at educational institutions outside the EU.
2. Living in the Netherlands during internship (HEINEKEN does not facilitate housing).
