Role Description

They are seeking an HR Operations Specialist to manage day-to-day HR administration, ensuring smooth HR processes and compliance with local labor laws. This role involves handling employee lifecycle events, maintaining HR systems, and supporting various HR functions to enhance employee experience.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee HR administrative tasks such as contracts, memos, and employee status changes.

  • Manage HR transactions in Workday, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.

  • Serve as a liaison between the HR team and external partners, including payroll and benefits providers.

  • Ensure adherence to Dutch labor laws through regular policy reviews and updates.

  • Coordinate onboarding, mobility, and payroll processes for new hires.

  • Support illness management and maintain accurate employee records.

  • Provide input for internal and external audits as needed.

  • Identify opportunities to optimize HR processes and enhance efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.

  • 1–2 years of HR experience, preferably in the Netherlands.

  • Knowledge of Dutch labor laws and HR processes.

  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Dutch is a plus.

  • Experience with HRIS systems; Workday experience is advantageous.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications.
