Role Description
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will contribute engineering support for manufacturing operations and capital investment projects. Working within the Site Engineering department, your focus will be on supporting design documentation, technical drawing management, and project documentation for infrastructure, maintenance, and equipment upgrades. You will operate under the direction of the Resources Lead and collaborate with cross-functional project teams including internal engineers and external contractors. 

Responsibilities

• Providing technical drawing support for engineering projects, including reviewing supplier and internal documents.
• Creating and modifying AutoCAD drawings as guided by engineering specialists.
• Managing and organizing project documentation within the Meridian document management system.
• Compiling and delivering project-related documents, such as maintenance and user manuals, to relevant stakeholders.
• Communicating with maintenance departments to ensure smooth handover of technical project documentation.
• Identifying and reporting discrepancies or inconsistencies in technical drawings.
• Participating in regular meetings with the project team, Project Support Engineer, and other departments (e.g., IT, EHS, Facilities).
• Coordinating with external engineering, construction, and installation partners to align on technical deliverables. 

Requirements

• Minimum MBO+ level education in a relevant technical discipline (preferably Mechanical Engineering).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM tools.
• Fluent in both Dutch and English, written and spoken.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with PC tools, including Microsoft Office and document systems such as Meridian.
• At least 5 years of relevant engineering experience within project-based environments.
• Previous experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced, multidisciplinary environments.
