As a Consumer & Customer Insights Manager you are accountable for the design and development of research projects and business recommendations; managing budgets and resources; working effectively with team members, partners and other stakeholders; overseeing delivery of high- quality research; and ensuring that our work ensures better informed decision making on strategy regarding portfolio, innovation, brand, channel and activation.
The role involves a high level of collaboration cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and leadership to ensure projects are delivered on time, in full and are of high quality.
You will become a part of the Brand & Market Insight team and report directly to the Consumer & Customer Insights Manager. This role is based in Breda.
What do you do?
- Define future research demands for informing the business;
- Develop research plans and budgets to meet specific needs and goals;
- Communicate with internal clients to understand and document the business objectives,
- Translate business objectives in clear single minded research objectives;
- Select the appropriate research methodology and supporting techniques to meet a defined business objective;
- Design qualitative and quantitative research plans for products in all stages of the Product Life Cycle;
- Coach stakeholders in creating the right, high quality and timely stimulus and inputs for research;
- Gather and interpret data, write reports, and make actionable recommendations to help Lamb Weston make informed decisions;
- Collaborate with other teams within the Product Studio and Channel to provide insights that guide future strategies;
- Communicate research insights and recommendations to executives and other decision-makers;
- Manage relationships with research vendors and consultants;
- Leverage on LW Global Knowledge & Insights tools and methodologies, creating synergy in global research investments;
- Distill tangible insights and recommendations from secondary data sources and continuous data sources;
- Build a reputation as a functional expert and champions functional excellence and engagement;
- Help curate a new level of analytical expertise on secondary consumer & customer and marketing data and primary research within the Product Studio and Channel teams.
What do you bring?
- Bachelor’s Degree. Academic working and thinking level. A minimum of 8 years within the custom Market Research industry;
- At least 3 years of industry/sector experience;
- Academic and practical experience with a wide array of new product, brand, advertising and customer satisfaction research methodologies;
- Exceptional written and oral communication abilities;
- Strong analytic skills with experience in statistical modelling and analysis;
- Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, and SPSS/SAS;
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of market research methodologies are essential for this role;
- Experience in building business processes, installing tools, metrics and developing people to professionalize marketing in an international organization;
- Highly analytical and a structured mind
- Project management skills
