As a Repair Analyst, you are the person that’s responsible for the entire repair and upgrade process of returned goods. You analyze issues that the clients might have and repair many different electrical modules, PCB’s, racks and other systems. You determine if a defect falls under the warranty and advise internal departments like sales, engineering and planning about the best way to handle the defect and costs of these. You do this work with loads of coordination between your colleagues to make sure that the customers remain happy, the recovery process remains efficient and that the costs are well maintained.

Your daily tasks:

• Preparation and planning
• Judging customer complaints, repair requests and upgrades
• Getting the proper product and customer info to get a global view of the repair process
• Performing visual inspections and checking the configuration and orders

Return management:

• Analyzing returned goods and checking them for cosmetic damage
• Working together with the sales and engineering department to determine if a product can be upgraded to a better version
• Report the needed materials and steps to perform a repair

Analysis and Diagnostics

• Performing extensive analysis on electronics and mechanics including modules, racks and PCB’s
• Determine if a defect is covered by the warranty and advice internal department about the most efficient way to fix the issues.
• Communicate with the sales and planning team about these analysis, so an accurate price estimate can be send towards the customers

Repairs

• Perform repairs on various complex systems and motherboards using technical drawings and instructions
• Using tools like screwdrivers, ampere pliers and soldering equipment
• Performing tests to check the functionality of the repaired goods
• Transporting the product to the warehouse, including fulfilling the documentation

Administration and safety

• Accurately track customer issues, completed tasks and day planning in the system
• Make sure all the safety guidelines are being followed and make sure the workplace is kept clean
• Proactively identify dangerous situations and report these to your team leader

• Performing simple analyses and repairs on small modules and PCB’s
• Supporting the preparative work for return management and simple customer issues

Gevraagd

• Secondary vocational education or Higher professional education with experience in electrical engineering or a similar technical expertise
• Experience working with technical instructions and drawings
• Proper knowledge of the English language, both spoken and written, in order to enhance communication with international customers and colleagues
• Knowledge of safety protocols, quality guidelines and procedures (like 8D’s or Root Cause Analysis)
• A solution-oriented, accurate and self sufficient attitude

Aanbod

• A fitting salary to start with in this position
• Travel allowance of €0,19 per kilometer for distances of 10 km to 40 km for a one way journey
• Building up a retirement fund
• You’ll have 38 holiday days, including 13 days that can be paid out plus 8% holiday fee
