What will you do?

• Monitoring the certification process around sustainable products (e.g., ensuring compliance with standards for recycled/organic materials)
• Having frequent contact with our suppliers to collect and verify sustainability data
• Optimizing and/or developing new internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance
• Supporting the process of sustainability claims on our Hunkemöller website and those of our wholesale partners
• Assisting the team on other sustainabilityprojects, such as researching potential new sustainable materials for our products and packaging

About you!

• Passionate about sustainability and fashion, with a strong understanding of materials.
• Currently enrolled in a study, ideally Fashion/Retail/product related 
• HBO / Bachelor or Master level (Bachelor’s in (fashion) business management, Bachelor’s in Environmental Studies, or a related field)
• Able to prioritize workload, demonstrating good organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in certification processes and data verification.
• An analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, effectively and appropriately with colleagues, suppliers and others at all levels in English.
• Interested in learning more about legal requirements, documentation, and procedures.

• Internship Allowance:450€ per month(gross) with 8+ holiday days (based on 40h/week).
• Travel Allowance: Max. 11,50€ per day (based on your travel distance), if you are not eligible for the free Student OV Chipcard.
• Additional Benefits: Access to 25% staff discount and a company laptop. Also, company gatherings like Townhalls and drinks.

Eligibility Criteria

For this internship, you need to be available for 5 months starting in September 2025. Please note that your application will only be considered if you are enrolled at a school or university for the full duration of the internship. Additionally, to comply with Dutch law, one of the following must apply:

• You are an EU citizen,
• You are on a Family/Partner visa, or
• You are a non-EU student studying in the Netherlands, and you meet at least one of the following requirements: (1) The internship is a mandatory part of your curriculum,OR(2) your university is willing to sign a third-party agreement (Nuffic Agreement).
