Are you a detail-oriented technician with a passion for precision and quality? Join a leading medical device manufacturer where innovation and compliance meet excellence. We are seeking a Calibration Technician to maintain, improve, and ensure the reliability of critical production and lab equipment. This is a dynamic role that offers exposure to high-tech environments and the opportunity to directly support life-saving technology.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform scheduled and ad-hoc calibrations on production and facilities equipment per approved procedures.
  • Identify and manage Out-of-Specification (OOS) conditions; initiate Calibration Alerts and inform QA as required.
  • Document all calibration activities in accordance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for calibration processes and new equipment.
  • Support manufacturing and laboratory operations by ensuring accurate, reliable equipment performance.
  • Establish and maintain calibration and test methods for both new and existing assets.
  • Troubleshoot calibration issues and perform root cause analyses to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all records are accurately completed and easily retrievable for audit readiness.
  • Actively participate in cross-functional teams, projects, or initiatives that contribute to company goals.
  • Attend relevant training and report any tasks requiring additional qualification or supervision.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Functie-eisen

Minimum Requirements:

  • Associate Degree in Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Electronics or related field.
  • Professional certifications as required by local regulations.
  • Proficient in MS Office and SAP; comfortable working with digital systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently under tight deadlines with a proactive, positive attitude.

Technical Competencies:

  • Strong technical understanding of pharmaceutical or medical device production equipment.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and technical documents.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Basic knowledge of aseptic techniques and cGMP compliance.
  • Automation and instrumentation knowledge preferred (depending on functional area).
  • Familiarity with safety, health, and environmental regulations in a manufacturing setting.
