We are looking for a Digital Content Specialist! Do you have a background in content publishing and ready to join us? We have a 6 months assignment available.


You will obsess all the interactions a Nike member has with the brand, whether that be on Nike, the Nike App, SNKRS, NRC, NTC, or in the Nike stores. Based on those interactions, a member qualifies for personalized triggered communications and you will be acting as point person for building them in collaboration with the Content Producer and the Lifestyle Marketing team.

What are you going to do?

As Digital Content Specialist you will be responsible for the execution of all content publishing aspects on all Nike owned digital platforms (Nike, Nike App, NTC, NRC, SNKRS, Email) across EMEA. You’ll focus on authoring content utilizing our CMS tool, striving to reflect Nike's design ethos and enhance the consumer online retail experience. You will work closely with Content Producers and Channel Leads, and play a part in delivering key sports, promo and brand moments in cross-functional collaboration to ensure content meets quality standards and business expectations. In this role you will work closest with a Content Producer who is responsible for the entire content production cycle from Planning to Publishing across all channels.

Further responsibilities are:

  • You will be responsible for execution of all aspects of content production for all Nike owned channels (e.g. Nike, Nike App, SNEAKRS, Email) across EMEA.
  • You’ll focus on authoring content utilizing our CMS tool, striving to reflect Nike's design ethos and enhance the consumer online retail experience.
  • You will work closely with Content Producers and Channel Leads, and play a part in delivering key sports, promo and brand moments in cross-functional collaboration to ensure content meets quality standards and business expectations.
  • You are expected to track day-to-day production processes from content production briefing up to content publishing.
  • Author/build website pages, feed cards, push notifications and other site and app content using our CMS tool
  • Partner with the Channel lead, Content Producer to implement briefs for content
  • You are expected to join and collaborate in cross-functional activations (i.e. in person command centers) during big brand/sports/promo moments
  • Act as content publishing subject matter expert to ensure flawless content executions on our channels
  • Supports channel leads with development and production of content capabilities projects
  • Work independently in pacing and balancing workload in conjunction with production (“work back”) schedules of multiple projects with similar and tight deadlines on an ongoing basis.
  • Communicate status of projects to all key stakeholders regularly and track stakeholder feedback
  • Assist the development and documentation of Digital Commerce standards and best practices to streamline operations, communication, and appropriate use guidelines of Nike (content module naming conventions, page types, etc.)
  • Perform QA for new content and User Acceptance Testing for project implementations.
  • Able to collaborate confidently and successfully within team environment. Responsible for problem solving and advice to solve production related challenges. 

You will partner closely with the Content Producers and Channel Leads. Cross-functional collaboration may be required during key brand, promo and sports moments with marketing functions, Brand Creative, NDDC, Membership and Digital Operations functions such as Commerce & Capabilities, Brand Operations, Launch Operations and other relevant teams. You will also work with Territories across EMEA and the Global team.

What do we ask?

A successful candidate will be expected to clearly demonstrate and articulate experience of the below essential requirements in order to be considered. Candidates that meet these criteria will then be assessed based on the Leadership Defined competencies.

  • Level of thinking: Bachelor’s degree
  • Typically requires a Degree in Design, Digital Media, Web Design or a related field
  • 1- 2 years of directly relevant work experience including 1-2 years' experience with web design, content management systems, publishing websites and/or CMS authoring/management required
  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a professional office environment required
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks, and reliably meet deadlines
  • Flexible and able to adapt quickly to new priorities
  • Detail orientation and intrinsic passion toward site success and high-quality delivery
  • Outstanding team player and positive attitude
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability and knows when to escalate to leadership
  • Logical reasoning, troubleshooting and creative problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and process excellence
