In this job as a production employee you'll assemble small medical devices. It is important that you can see well (glasses or lenses are no problem if they improve your vision) and that you can work accurately. Because you'll make products for the medical branche, this must be done as hygienically as possible, so you will be working in a cleanroom. In this room you are only allowed to enter if you are wearing a suit, gloves, face mask and a hairnet. 

Responsibilities:

• Assembling very small parts. You do this based on work instructions
• Operating machines 
• Registering production numbers, any malfunctions and batch data 
• Performing quality controls 
• Cleaning the workplace and equipment 

It is very important that you will follow all the quality procedures. The department works in 2 shifts: one week you'll work from 07.00 to 15.00, the other week you'll work from 15.00 to 23.00 (The working hours may vary by 15 minutes). The vacancy is for 38 hours per week and for 3 months, possibly longer. Attention: If you travel by public transport, it’s important that you can arrive on time for your shift. Therefore, please check if it’s possible for you to reach the Strijkviertel business park by around 7:00 AM.

Because you work in two shifts, you receive a 14% bonus on all working hours! This brings your gross hourly wage to €18.64.

The goal of the client is to make life easier for people with diabetes and give them more freedom. They have developed an insulin pump that delivers the best performance and offers the user a great experience. The product is small, light and comes in several colors. The user can wear the product discreetly and easily, so that they can forget about having diabetes for a while and live their life on their own terms. There are currently around 40 people working in this cleanroom.

In addition to working on a groundbreaking new product you will work in a small, friendly and highly motivated team. All ideas are welcome and great work is rewarded. We also offer:

•  A salary of €18,64, per hour from the age of 21 (You will be paid for your two training-days. The gross hourly wage for these training hours is €16,35) 
• Travel allowance: € 0,21 per km
• 25 vacation days based on a full-time employment contract + 8,33% holiday pay)
• Pension accrual from your 1st working day 

As a production employee, you:

• have an eye for detail 
• can handle and assemble small parts in a fast, repetitive manner 
• can follow procedures 
• are willing to work in shifts
• can speak and read English
• live within a maximum radius of 30 km from De Meern.
