Internship – Procurement - Digital, Technology and Services

Are you a graduate student willing to help HEINEKEN on its journey to become ‘’the best connected brewer’’.  If so, this internship opportunity could be just what you are looking for!

You will play a key role in delivering for HEINEKEN Global Procurement, based out of Amsterdam, as we partner with our Digital and Technology team on projects across the globe.  More to be shared during our interview!

The internship

 As a valued member of the Digital, Technology and Professional Services team within HEINEKEN Global Procurement team – you would be working in a pivotal area where the current and future technology landscape of HEINEKEN is selected and contracted.  From apps for customers to ESG reporting, from connected breweries to connected outlets – this team helps the business engage and partner with a variety of vendors (big tech firms to small start ups).  We are leaders in innovation, social sustainability (supplier diversity) and vendor management as well as typical category management

The role will involve:

·       Tracking and reporting of procurement performance

·       Conducting market research

·       Preparing and executing supplier innovation forums

·       Supporting the teams in analyzing data, project management and exploring automation and AI opportunities

The department

The D&T and PS team is unique, part of Global Procurement but co-located with D&T team in central Amsterdam so we can meet with key stakeholders across the central Amsterdam offices.  We still go to the BASE Schiphol offices (home of Global Procurement) 1-2 times a month.  We all enjoy the freedom and variety of our roles

The terms of employment

·       Your starting date is 10 September 2026

·       The internship is fulltime/parttime

·       The duration of the internship is 5 or 6 months (in consultation with your internship supervisor)

·       It is a practice-oriented internship / theoretical research internship

·       You will be based in Amsterdam

·       During your internship, you have the flexibility to work from home/in a hybrid setup/on-site

·       You will receive an internship fee of €650 gross pm based on 40 hours per week

·       You will enjoy 2 vacation days per month (based on fulltime)

·       If you do not have a student OV product, your commuting expenses will be fully reimbursed

Conditions of HEINEKEN

1.       You are enrolled at an educational institution.

a.       In the case of non-EU nationality, you must be registered as an intern with a Dutch educational institution, from which we receive proof of enrollment for the current academic year from you.

b.       In case of EU nationality, you may also be registered as an intern at educational institutions outside the EU.

2.       Living in the Netherlands during internship (HEINEKEN does not facilitate housing).
