Your activities

As a Consumer Insights Manager, you will gather actionable consumer insights and collect data of market, competition and trends to shape portfolio, brand, and innovation strategies. With your strong understanding of the consumer landscape, insights, and trends, you will align the brand strategy and guide the business on growth and performance opportunities. By tapping into meaningful human insights and potential consumer challenges through internal and external agency partnerships, you will co-develop big brand ideas, breakthrough campaigns, and guide the direction of future product innovation. This position is instrumental in collecting, analyzing, and disseminating market data to support strategic decision-making and new product development.

As Customer and Market Insights Manager you will play a crucial role in driving a deeper understanding of market and customer dynamics within our organization. You possess a high level of analytical, conceptual, and strategic thinking as well as strong communication skills. This role will work cross-functionally with a variety of stakeholders and leaders in the organization to help answer business questions and challenges, providing data-led consumer-centric strategic business decisions.

The CMI function in the business unit still needs to be shaped further and so it is an exciting opportunity to build, make it your own and show the organisation the power that CMI can add to the business. In this role, you report directly to the Global Marketing Director. You will be a key member of the global marketing leadership team with a responsibility beyond your own scope of work, driving excitement, trust, alignment, and collaboration within the marketing community. While there are no direct reports in 2025, there is potential to build and lead a small team in the future.You will work closely with our Category and Innovation Teams, regional marketing and R&D. The role requires a high level of flexibility and adaptability to respond to changing market conditions and business needs.

You are the fit if
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred;
  • Proven experience in market research, data analysis, and strategic planning;
  • Previous experience of at least 5 years proven experience in an insights or market research position in FMCG;
  • Strong research led background both in qualitative and quantitative research, with experience of agency management and management of customer panels;
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey insights to diverse audiences;
  • Experience working with market research agencies and external partners; 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment;
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Expert in ‘connecting the dots’, thorough analysis and strategic recommendations;
  • Ability to collaborate, manage, influence, and motivate across organisational boundaries;
  • Experience working in global teams or matrix teams with local markets;
  • Deep understanding of customer needs and behaviors to drive customer-centric strategies;
  • Energetic, proactive & positive mindset;
  • Agile and comfortable with a changing environment.
