As a Service Engineer, you will work on advanced equipment designed and installed by our client after completing your training. Your role is essential in ensuring that customers get the most out of their machines. You will perform inspections, maintenance, and calibration work worldwide. Additionally, you will support customers by troubleshooting, training, and improving machine performance.

Your responsibilities include:

• Maintaining and servicing our client’s equipment
• Inspecting and reporting machine status
• Analyzing and identifying downtime to optimize performance
• Conducting classroom and on-the-job training for customer personnel (operators, maintenance staff, and process engineers)
• Resolving urgent and persistent technical issues to maximize machine efficiency
• Providing proactive customer advice on service and retrofit options
• Staying up to date with R&D developments through training
• Traveling internationally and participating in the 24/7 remote support schedule

We are looking for someone with international service experience who is open to extensive travel. Ideally, you have expertise with industrial machines, camera systems, Rockwell/Siemens PLCs, industrial PCs, and Fanuc robotics.

• Bachelor’s degree (HBO) in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent work experience)
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent reporting accuracy
• Customer-oriented mindset and a can-do attitude
• Ability to work under pressure and act as an ambassador for our client
• Flexible and available to support customers as needed
• Willingness to travel internationally for periods of up to 4 weeks
• Technical skills in electrical, mechanical, and software systems
