The Department and Team
The EMEA E-commerce team leads the brand’s digital growth across the region, delivering smooth and engaging online shopping experiences for consumers. They manage the regional e-commerce strategy, focusing on site merchandising, user experience, and consumer engagement to continuously improve the overall customer journey. Working in close partnership with buying and planning, marketing, and tech & product teams, they execute seasonal campaigns, product launches, and promotional strategies aligned with business objectives. Their efforts are crucial in enhancing the brand’s digital presence and driving sustained growth across EMEA.
As the Director of Site Merchandising, you are responsible for shaping the online shopping journey by optimizing product launches, promotional strategies, and the overall consumer experience. You enhance site navigation, filtering, and search functionalities to drive conversion and sales. Through data-driven insights and analysis, you design seamless digital experiences that align with seasonal campaigns and brand promotions.
In close collaboration with analytics, marketing, buying & planning, and UX teams, you ensure the e-commerce platform authentically reflects the brand while achieving key business objectives. In this dynamic role, you continuously track performance, test merchandising approaches, and refine content to boost engagement. By combining analytics, brand insights, and third-party tools, you make informed decisions that elevate the customer experience. Your work merges creativity with commercial strategy to maintain a compelling and results-driven online presence.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Site Merchandising & Optimization :
- Ensure products are strategically placed, categorized, and presented to enhance discoverability and conversion.
- Data-Driven Decision Making :
- Analyze sales performance, customer behavior, and engagement metrics to refine merchandising strategies.
- Campaign & Promotion Execution :
- Support seasonal launches, promotions, and marketing campaigns by aligning product visibility and messaging.
- User Experience & Navigation :
- Continuously improve site structure, filters, and search functionality for a seamless shopping journey.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration :
- Work closely with marketing, buying, and UX teams to align e-commerce strategies with brand and business goals.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Has at minimum 7 years of experience in commercial e-commerce roles, preferably in an international brand environment.
- Is data-driven and action oriented.
- Is a strong people manager - knows how to engage a team and provide clear direction to professionals in your team.
- Has stellar stakeholder management skills.
