Functie omschrijving
As a Technical Consultant at Urovo, your role will be crucial in providing exceptional customer service, resolving technical inquiries, and driving improvements. You will demonstrate a deep understanding of our products and software, allowing you to provide top-tier technical support and guidance to both internal and external customers. When necessary, you will collaborate with the technical support teams at our suppliers to effectively address customer inquiries. You will take charge of tracking and managing customer technical inquiries, ensuring their resolution or closure.

Your responsibilities will also include:

• Reporting product bugs and feature requests to our suppliers and following up on their resolution;
• Administering access permissions for visitors to our technical information on the company's SharePoint and Partner Support Portal;
• Conducting product training sessions for our customers;
• Providing presales support in coordination with our sales team;
• Attend exhibitions and events, for one week or longer, to assist the sales team (about five times a year); 
• Maintaining information on spare parts and working instructions with our authorized partners;
• Reviewing reimbursement claims from authorized service partners and making approval decisions;
• Ensuring comprehensive coverage and adherence to service plan terms and conditions;
• Liaising with external IT support companies for infrastructure maintenance as needed.

Functie-eisen

You possess strong technical knowledge across various areas, including proficiency with Windows and Android operating systems, familiarity with IT hardware, and a deep understanding of communication systems. You are available for 32 to 40 hours per week, with the possibility to work both from home and the office. Additionally, you have:

• A strong sense of self-motivation, a results-driven mindset, and relentless ambition to excel and be a winner in every team;
• Confidence, excellent teamwork skills, and a proactive work attitude;
• Reasonable knowledge of third-party solutions such as SOTI, Ivanti, and similar software is essential. A basic understanding of different programming tools is a valuable asset;
• Previous experience in the AIDC field is a plus;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English;
• Driving license B. 
• Business proficiency in French is required. Additional proficiency in other EU languages, such as German, is a strong plus.

The Urovo headquarters are located in Best, where you frequently liaise with the factory in China. It's a small and close-knit team, with four other colleagues in the office with you.
