23 MAY 25’: We are looking for a Senior Financial Controller to join a leading biopharmaceutical company in South Holland, specializing in innovative immunotherapy solutions. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a growing organization at the forefront of medical innovation.

This is how you will make the difference

As a Senior Financial Controller, you will oversee the financial closing process for the Dutch entities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. You will be responsible for preparing financial group reports and special management reports while maintaining strict quality control. Additionally, you will actively contribute to financial forecasting and budget planning, including group consolidation and budget reporting. Your role will also involve ensuring compliance with Dutch tax regulations, working closely with tax advisors, and monitoring financial performance by comparing actuals to budgets. You will coordinate inventory counts, assess risks, and report findings to management. Furthermore, you will prepare annual financial statements, support external audits, and manage ad-hoc financial projects requested by local management.

What you bring

We are looking for a detail-oriented financial expert with strong analytical and IT skills, who thrives in a fast-paced, growing environment. Specifically:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Economics, or equivalent experience;
Around 7 years of relevant work experience in financial controlling;
Strong knowledge of Dutch GAAP and preferably IFRS;
Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and Navision;
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV, BI-tool Board, and/or Caseware is a plus;
Excellent command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
