As a Product Compliance Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that Segway Ninebot's products meet all legal, regulatory, and industry standards in the micromobility sector. You will work closely with cross-functional teams such as product development, legal, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs to ensure that our products are safe, reliable, and compliant when introduced into the market. Key Responsibilities: - Stay updated on all relevant laws, regulations, and directives affecting the micromobility industry in Europe, ensuring compliance with standards such as WEEE regulations. - Interpret and communicate the impact of regulatory changes on our product compliance efforts. - Determine the correct classification of products based on regulatory categories and industry-specific requirements. - Work closely with engineering, quality assurance, and testing teams to ensure products meet safety and quality standards during development and production. - Ensure compliance of product labeling, packaging, and instructions, including warnings, usage guidelines, and language requirements. - Manage the process of obtaining necessary certifications like CE marking, FCC approval, and other industry-specific certifications. - Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and work with relevant teams to implement risk mitigation strategies. - Maintain detailed records of compliance activities, test results, and certifications, providing regular updates to management and regulatory agencies. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate compliance considerations throughout the product lifecycle. - Provide training and support to internal teams on product compliance requirements and best practices. - Respond effectively to incidents, recalls, or safety concerns in a timely manner. - Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the product compliance framework. - Serve as the primary point of contact for compliance queries across Segway Ninebot’s European offices. - Implement and oversee a best-in-class compliance framework, ensuring reporting requirements are met by local offices in the EU.

To excel in this role, we are seeking a highly qualified professional with proven experience in product compliance, regulatory affairs, and quality assurance, particularly within the micromobility or consumer electronics sectors. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, regulatory affairs, quality management, or a related discipline. Advanced degrees and relevant certifications are a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in product compliance, quality assurance, or a related role, preferably within the micromobility or consumer electronics industry.
- Strong knowledge of European regulations and standards related to electric vehicles, emissions, safety, and environmental impact.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and maintain strong relationships with management.
- In-depth understanding of product regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirements for the industry.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure compliance.
- Problem-solving ability to address and resolve compliance challenges effectively.
- Familiarity with product testing, quality control processes, and risk assessment methodologies.
- Technical acumen with the ability to develop in-depth knowledge of all Segway products.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical and regulatory documentation.
- Ethical mindset with a strong commitment to product integrity and safety.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Dutch and other European languages is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and other office software).
