As a sheet metal worker, you will perform various sheet metal tasks both in new aircraft production and in repair work. Your responsibilities in this position include:

• Inspecting, repairing, modifying, and maintaining aircraft
• Documenting deviations and managing tools/machines
• Proposing methods to improve efficiency and safety
• Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of aircraft
• Training and mentoring junior sheet metal workers when necessary

Fokker is a leading specialist in landing gear and related systems. The company is involved in the design, development, production, and assembly of fully equipped landing gears, as well as the maintenance and revision of existing systems. They work on advanced aircraft such as the Apache attack helicopter, F-35 fighter jet, NH90 maritime helicopter, and MQ-9 Reaper.

• At least 1 year of experience in the civil and/or military aircraft maintenance sector
• High manual dexterity and attention to technical details
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Able to read and understand technical English
• EU citizenship or a valid Dutch work permit

• Starting monthly salary of €3937, including 5% ATV (depending on experience and qualifications)
• Long-term contract with Fokker Techniek (12 months), followed by a permanent job contract
• Opportunity to develop your skills with welding training in the first few months
• Short-term accommodation support for the first 6-12 months, with assistance in finding long-term accommodation afterwards
• Commuting support
