Strong Plant Manager with focus on alignment and world class performanceLeading role for plant operations, and facilitator for the site teams in Barneveld. Broad product and client portfolio. Further integration and alignment with the group strategy and activities.
In this position you are part of the Stoneridge Electronics Division and P&L responsible for the plant operations in Barneveld with appr. 200 employees. Core tasks and responsibilities:
- Responsible for leading Stoneridge’s Customer and Team-Member focus of “Relentless Pursuit toward the Ideal State World Class Operations” (on Demand, One by One, Defect Free, Zero Waste, Safe), establishing a culture of producing ZERO Defects and exceeding KPIs.
- Provides direction to salaried and hourly production and support staff employees in a manufacturing and assembly environment. The Site Leader leads the strategic actions aligning the Stoneridge Strategic A3 elements to the plant's daily, weekly, and monthly operating cadence and reporting.
- Responsible for successfully creating an environment focused on value creation through problem-solving, people development, and company values – driving Mutual Trust & Respect.
- Is the location source for leading continuous improvement, benchmarking and sharing best practices and leading talent development. He/she is also accountable for driving higher standards of excellence in safely manufacturing high-quality products while assuring cost-efficient products and on-time delivery to customers, and for maintaining an environment of positive employee relations in a team environment. Frequent contacts with the local work council.
- Manages FMDS (Floor Management Delivery System), drives department metrics (SQDCM) and problem-solve to address gaps, as well as leads the coaching and mentoring for Problem-Solving to drive root cause for any SQDCM misses.

Stoneridge is looking for an experienced change agent in operations, a (team) relationship builder and strategic stakeholder manager. You have a successful track record in managing plant operations and world class performance in an international high demanding environment. Strong communicator, natural leader and people manager. Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business discipline or other related field is required; an MBA is a plus.
- Experience with implementing Lean/world class culture in a manufacturing environment. Track record in automotive is a strong plus.
- Prior experience in leading multiple site or plant related functions in an organization - production, quality, supply chain and projects.
- Experience in international leadership, change and stakeholder management and ability to work effectively within a matrix environment.
- Strong process development background with demonstrated proficiency in gaining organizational commitment and agreement to execute new processes.
- Financial and commercial understanding and experience with technical maintenance.
- Fluent English and Dutch (written and spoken).
