Shape the international technical Sales of Abifor AG.

With your technical expertise and your skills in international Sales, you successfully manage various sales projects. You represent the company externally and cultivate and build trust-based, long-term relationships with customers and stakeholders. With your committed and proactive approach, you contribute to the sustainable success of an internationally operating Swiss company.


Your Responsibilities:
  • Active and independent management of existing customers across all product groups, including regular contact via telephone and video conference with existing customers and agents in the sales territory
  • Technical and commercial implementation of new projects with existing customers
  • Coordination between customers, development, production, and suppliers
  • Maintaining contacts and building networks with decision-makers and key persons
  • Acquisition and monitoring of customer orders
  • Structured acquisition of new customers and project development with potential new customers
  • Selection and establishment of strategic partner companies (extended workbenches) for defined (new) products
  • Agent and customer training, preparation, and participation in trade fairs
  • Preparation of statistics and evaluations
Your Profile:
  • Completed technical education (e.g. Engineering Sciences, Chemistry, Materials Science, Plastics Technology) or commercial education with a strong technical background
  • Additional training in Sales / Marketing is of advantage
  • At least 5 years’ experience in Technical Sales of complex B2B products
  • Solid experience in pricing, contract negotiations and sales strategy
  • Experience with adhesives or related industries (e.g. Textiles, Automotive, Packaging, Electronics) is a plus
  • Experience in dealing with international markets (ideally BeNeLux, UK, or other European countries)
  • Proven success in acquiring new customers and building and maintaining customer relationships
  • Ideally, experience in trade shows, customer trainings and strategic partner development
  • Experience with CRM and ERP systems for efficient customer management and internal coordination
  • Excellent German skills and business-fluent English skills (spoken and written); French and Dutch skills are of advantage
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%
