The opportunity - What future are you building towards?

As an S/4HANA (Senior) Manager, your primary focus is on driving technology-based business transformations. This includes understanding the requirements and objectives of our clients, ensuring clarity and transparency in communication, hands-on configuration of the S/4/HANA system, and guiding the IT transformation process. You will have extensive contact with clients and, in some situations, also be their point of contact. You are the SAP expert for the client! Finally, there is also the challenge of further developing yourself within the extensive SAP portfolio, closely monitoring developments, and acting on them.

The office

Our office in Amsterdam is located on the Zuidas: a bustling area where many companies are based. In our Cross Towers, as many as 1000 people are welcomed daily. Haven't had breakfast yet? Then a special smoothie will be made for you or simply a delicious cappuccino. During lunchtime, the team is ready to serve you a fresh lunch. For a breathtaking view of Amsterdam, head to the 22nd floor. Collaboration takes on a new meaning through the Wavespace. Responsibilities – How can you make a lasting impact in a rapidly changing world?

• Designing solutions for complex business problems leveraging S/4HANA capabilities.
• Leading sales and delivery of complex SAP enabled projects.
• Managing all relevant project planning and execution activities.
• Building and managing relations with clients.
• Leading and nurturing talent development within project teams.

Job requirements – Where do you start if you want to change the world?

• Completed Bachelor or Masters education, e.g. Business Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Business Administration.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience in industry or consultancy.
• Experience in at least 3 full life-cycle S/4HANA implementation projects, with a minimum of 2 projects in a role such as project manager, solution architect, or stream lead.
• Extensive and comprehensive knowledge of SAP related products and market developments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Dutch is an advantage.
• Strong business knowledge in Finance domain and proven knowledge and experience in SAP S/4 Finance and adjacent areas.
• An independent, proactive and flexible work attitude.
• Very good analytical and critical skills.
• Furthermore, you do not mind having to travel (internationally).

It's an advantage if you have:

• Hands-on experience with the Digital Core S/4HANA Enterprise Management.
• Experience with SAP Activate.
• Skills to work well in a team and have ambitions to grow into a professional within our leading organization.
• Skills to independently identify (follow-up) assignments with existing customers.
• Skills and sense of responsibility to supervise more junior colleagues and to support them professionally.

• Sabbatical: the option to take unpaid leave after consultation.
• Birth leave: EY will pay 100% of the birth leave, in case of an additional birth leave EY will pay 70% of the salary.
• Training and education: EY believes it's important for everyone to always have the opportunity to further develop yourself. We therefore offer you the opportunity to take part in various soft & hard skills training, external courses and/or sign up for an additional education. For example, obtaining an MBA to broaden your skills in Leadership, Business and Tech.
• Mobility: Contribute directly to our ambition to reduce EY's carbon footprint to zero by 2025. Think of the use of lease bicycles, electric shared scooters, electric shared cars, flexible lease cars and various subscriptions for public transport. • Bicycle arrangement: finance the purchase cost of your new bicycle from your gross monthly salary (purchase cost amount divided over 12 months) or from your non-statutory holiday entitlement.
• Pension scheme: you will build up a pension capital directly after your start at EY. Each month the available premium amount is transferred for you in an investment account at our pension provider. You will also have the option to build up additional pension capital on a voluntary basis.

Pre-employment screening
Due to laws and regulations, and because EY (and in some cases its clients) has high demands on the reliability and integrity of its employees, every new employee will be screened. Depending on your rank the pre employment screening could contain the following: Certificate of Conduct (in Dutch: VOG) or - if requesting a Dutch VOG is not possible - Criminal Background Check of the country you are currently living or have lived during the last five years, integrity questionnaire, verification of ID, diploma’s and/or work experience and consultation of the Dutch insolvency registry.
