Our vegetable oils find their way to various industries, from food to feed to oleochemicals. In this role, you will gain insight into the different technical applications of our products, learn to identify potential markets, and become familiar with platforms like Reuters and Bloomberg to make strategic trading decisions. Your focus will be on the EMEA region, specifically Europe.

As Senior Sales Manager animal nutrition, you are responsible for managing and expanding our customer portfolio in the EMEA region. You work strategically and tactically to achieve sales and margin targets and build strong relationships with existing and new customers. You are a driving force behind identifying new opportunities and increasing the demand for our products. Collaboration is essential; you will work closely with various internal stakeholders, including Production, Supply Chain, and Product Management, as well as other commercial functions.

What will you do?

  • Maintain, build and expand existing relationships with customers in the EMEA region. Frequent travel is a must.
  • Analyze market developments and relevant customer insights and translate them into commercial actions.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop them into concrete proposals.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to achieve sales targets.
  • Represent Bunge at trade fairs and events.


What do you bring?

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in animal nutrition / feed, or in related physical commodities trading.
  • Knowledge of incoterms and general contract terms.
  • Strong analytical skills and a proactive, result-oriented attitude.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • A team player mentality and the drive to be successful.
  • Affinity with the financial markets and/or foreign currencies (dollar-euro exchange rate) and geopolitics is a plus.
  • An entrepreneurial and go get mindset
  • Excellent command of the English language. Additional European language skills are an advantage.
