We are looking for a skilled Tekla Modeler to create detailed 3D models using Tekla Structures. You will collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure accuracy and optimize models for production and assembly. Responsibilities include developing models, generating drawings and reports, solving modeling challenges, and applying BIM principles to support prefabrication processes and efficient construction assembly.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Tekla Modeler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for independently creating detailed 3D models using Tekla Structures. You will work closely with the engineering and production teams to ensure that models are technically correct and optimized for production.

Responsibilities:

• Create and develop 3D models in Tekla Structures from concept to detailed design.
• Generate detailed drawings, parts lists, and reports.
• Analyse design drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy.
• Identify and solve any modelling challenges.
• Optimize models for production and assembly in prefabrication processes.
• Ensure parts are prepared for efficient transportation and quick assembly at the construction site.
• Apply BIM principles to the modelling process.
• Support the work preparation and production teams.
• Participate in team meetings and project discussions.

HDO Group is a specialist in prefab timber frame construction modules, elements & constructions. 

Requirements:

• Proven experience with Tekla Structures.
• Strong understanding of construction principles and processes, particularly in prefabrication (prefab).
• Knowledge of BIM methodologies and practices.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Relevant MBO-4 or HBO qualification in construction, engineering, or related fields.
• Willingness to learn and grow in the role.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in timber construction.
• VCA-1 safety certificate or willingness to obtain it.
