The internship

Quality is a fundamental part of our company's foundation. To embed it in our hearts and minds, we must continuously strengthen the Quality Culture at HEINEKEN. During this internship, you will support and contribute to the following areas:

• Developing materials for Quality Culture, including research, analytics, and action planning.
• Organizing the Quality Week 2025, covering preparation, communication, and execution.
• Promoting Connected Quality awareness.
• Engaging the Quality community through the Quality Governance agenda.
• Learn on how Quality supports HEINEKEN premium status
• Having fun with a network of young, sought-after talent

The Global Quality Department

What makes us unique is our global reach combined with deep technical expertise — we provide clear global standards, lead a Centre of Excellence in Quality & Food Safety Systems, and nurture a strong, collaborative Quality Community.

The terms of employment

• Your starting date is 1 August 2025
• The internship is full time (preferably)
• The duration of the internship is 6 months
• It is a practice-oriented internship
• You will be based in Schiphol (The Base HQ office)
• During your internship, you have the flexibility to work in a hybrid setup (2 days per week from home and 3 days per week in the office)
• You will receive an internship fee of €650 gross pm based on 40 hours per week [tbc]
• You will enjoy 2 vacation days per month (based on fulltime)
• If you do not have a student OV product, your commuting expenses will be fully reimbursed

The unique you!

You are a student in a relevant field of study (e.g. Communication & Media, Business Administration)  and you have the following:

• You are highly motivated and passionate about creating sound content and communications
• You take up the challenge to quickly master our tools and to find out new ways of virtual collaboration.
• Ability to prioritize and to work in a structured way on projects and individually
• Exceptional team player capability and eagerness to learn, share knowledge
• Proficiency in English: written, spoken and interpersonal
• A pragmatic approach with a can-do mentality
• We believe that everyone has unique talents and are therefore looking for you!
• If you are currently enrolled at a Dutch university and have affinity with the sweet spot where business and technology meet
• If you are a team player that communicates and collaborates effectively across different countries and cultures
• If you are a structured person who doesn’t shy away from complex challenges

Conditions of HEINEKEN

1. You are enrolled at an educational institution.
   1. In the case of non-EU nationality, you must be registered as an intern with a Dutch educational institution, from which we receive proof of enrollment for the current academic year from you.
   2. In case of EU nationality, you may also be registered as an intern at educational institutions outside the EU.
2. Living in the Netherlands during internship (HEINEKEN does not facilitate housing).
