Job Description

Your expertise will play a crucial role in enhancing our pharmaceutical product labeling and packaging processes.

Our Animal Health IT team operates as a business partner proposing ideas and innovative solutions that enable new organizational capabilities. We collaborate internationally to deliver the services and solutions that help everyone to be more productive and enable innovation. The Office of the CIO supports the development of strategy, investment and financial management and data governance and operations for Animal Health IT.

Purpose of the role
In the role of Senior IT Specialist Artwork, you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining and optimizing our artwork management software and processes. Your expertise will ensure compliance, efficiency and accuracy in our pharmaceutical product labeling and packaging. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance our artwork management capabilities and support our commitment to regulatory compliance. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in driving continuous improvement initiatives, fostering a culture of collaboration and ensuring that our systems evolve to meet the changing needs of the organization and industry standards. Your background in Technical Product Management will be essential in aligning our technology solutions with business objectives, ensuring that our artwork management systems not only meet current requirements but also anticipate future needs.

Tasks and responsibilities include, but are not limited to

  • Oversee the artwork management system to ensure it meets organizational needs and complies with industry regulations.
  • Analyze current artwork management processes and identify areas for improvement to streamline workflows and enhance productivity.
  • Provide technical support and training to staff on the artwork management system, ensuring all users are proficient and confident in its use.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, Regulatory Affairs, and Quality Assurance, to ensure artwork meets compliance standards and project timelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of all artwork versions, approvals, and changes, ensuring traceability and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with external vendors and software providers to ensure the artwork management system is up-to-date and functioning optimally.

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences, Process Automation, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in IT product management, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Knowledge and experience with configuration of complex IT systems (e.g., APIs, data flows across different systems); familiarity with artwork management software (e.g.,
  • GLAMS, Artwork Management Systems) and project management tools (e.g., Jira) is preferred.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance and standards related to pharmaceutical labeling and packaging (e.g., GxP).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
