As a Production Engineer you will assess the (outfitting) construction plans of ship- or yacht building projects. You will check the feasibility of construction work and come up with solutions for any problems during the construction of the vessel. This position is based in the The Hague area.

Specific duties in this role include:

• Keeping track of all production related progress, being in charge and solving issues on the way.
• Gathering information regarding production specifications and drawings.
• Check / modify 2 and 3D workshop drawings.
• Reporting your progress and discussing ideas.

We are looking for a Mechanical Production Engineer with experience in shipbuilding. Additionally, the following requirements should be met:

• Having at least 3 years of experience in shipbuilding construction processes.
• Having at least a secondary level education but we prefer BSc in Mechanical Engineering.
• Being able to work with 2D (AutoCAD) and 3D CAD would be a be a big plus (Solid Edge, Cadmatic).
• Good knowledge of the production process (outfitting related).
• Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
• Dutch is preferred.

The base salary for this position depends on your experience and capabilities, being up to € 65K gross per year. Additionally, you will have approximately 37 holiday days per year and travel allowance is offered.
