As a service staff member, you are the face of our venue. You ensure that our guests feel welcome and have a great experience. Your responsibilities include:

• Taking orders

• Serving drinks and dishes

• Clearing and cleaning tables

• Being the point of contact for our guests

• Collaborating with the kitchen and bar for a smooth operation

You will work on a flexible schedule between Monday and Sunday, with shifts from 5:00 PM to 12:00 AM or 1:00 AM.

Het Paleis in Schiedam is a charming and versatile event venue, specializing in weddings, family parties, and other special occasions. With a stylish and spacious location, Het Paleis provides the perfect setting for both intimate gatherings and large celebrations. Hospitality and service are key: every guest is welcomed with attention and care. Whether it's an anniversary, wedding, or cultural family event — Het Paleis ensures everything is perfectly arranged. As a team member, you’ll be part of a dedicated team working together to make every evening a memorable experience.

• You speak Dutch or English (both is a plus!)

• You are hospitable and social

• You handle busy situations well and always stay friendly

• You are attentive and proactive

• You are available at least 2 evenings per week, including weekends

• Experience is a plus, but not required — motivation matters!

• €14.06 gross per hour (from age 21)

• A flexible work schedule that fits well with studies or other commitments
