Workpackage manager hardware development

About the job

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated project manager to lead hardware developments, mainly mechanical and electrical, to be used in our radar products.
 

As a workpackage manager you are part of the engineering delivery team headed, by the Engineering Delivery manager. You are responsible for the planning, execution, and control of assigned work packages and the delivery of these workpackages within budget, time and quality. In this role, you will report to the Engineering Delivery Manager (EDM) and the Engineering Manager for the search radar segment.

The development of these systems require a multidiscipline project approach, initiative and teamwork. To facilitate this, we value our employees and their development and provide a save and dynamic working environment.

About you

• You have a relevant degree in one of the following subjects: Hardware or electrical engineering.
• You are an experienced work or project manager with recent experience in managing hardware engineering project with a focus on Mechanical and Electrical disciplines.
• You have proven Project Management experience within an Engineering Company (high tech), preferably you have a IPMA, PMI or similar certification.
• You are results-oriented, cost-conscious and you like to take initiative.
• You are a team player with strong dedication to achieve common team goals. You have a clear sense of how to leverage your personality and experience to bring out the best in others and yourself.
• You have good interpersonal skills with the ability to manage expectations and explain technical detail at different levels.
• You have a “can-do” and “why-not-this” mentality: entrepreneurial, flexible and open mindset.
• You have a good understanding of the Engineering Process.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English.
