Do you aspire to grow as a Technical Specialist in a dynamic, international biotechnology environment? If so, this opportunity is for you!

Johnson & Johnson IM is looking for an ELM & Automation Specialist to join the Lab Operation team within the Analytical Development (AD) department of TDS. This role is critical in supporting the fast-paced growth of our equipment base and the increasing demand for advanced lab automation systems.

As an ELM & Automation Specialist, you will play a vital role in:

Equipment Life Cycle Management (ELM):
  • Support the introduction, qualification, and decommissioning of laboratory equipment
  • Maintain proper equipment documentation in compliance with GMP standards
  • Ensure optimal performance and life cycle continuity of analytical instruments
Lab Automation & Data Systems:
  • Support multiple laboratory software applications including Empower, Chromeleon, Unifi, and ICE3
  • Contribute to ongoing and future projects around data integrity, paperless lab initiatives, and global platform implementation
  • Translate user requirements into technical specifications while adhering to Data Integrity (DI) standards
  • Support both New Product Introductions (NPI) and existing systems with creative, technical solutions
Functie-eisen
  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Affinity with automation, lab software, and data acquisition tools.
  • Experience with database systems and visual reporting is a strong plus.
  • Working knowledge of GMP quality systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage across all organizational levels.
  • Excellent written and spoken English; Dutch is a plus.
  • Effective planning and prioritization skills.
  • Proactive mindset with analytical thinking and technical problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative when challenges arise.
Arbeidsvoorwaarden

We offer a challenging position in which you can work in a dynamic and international environment, guaranteeing diversity in your work and creating plenty of opportunities for personal development. It concerns a secondment agreement at Johnson & Johnson via Yacht for 1 year (with possible extension), for 40 hours per week (working on site), There will be a training period of approximately 2 to 3 weeks,This is a fully onsite role, though working from home one day per week is allowed.
