Do you want to contribute to the safety of robots and other innovative products in dairy farming? Do you enjoy translating legislation and regulations into practical advice and support for stakeholders such as Business teams, Product Development, and third-party suppliers? Are you the one who takes action when safety risks are unacceptable to you? And do you enjoy collaborating with colleagues across all levels of the organisation in an international environment? Then this is your role!

As a Product Safety & Compliance Professional, your main goal is to help ensure our products meet international product safety regulations, particularly in the area of machinery safety. You will act as an expert advisor to various internal stakeholders and guide them in developing safe and compliant products. You know how to strike the right balance between technical feasibility and regulatory safety measures. Together with your colleagues within the Product Safety & Compliance team — each with their own area of expertise (e.g. occupational, chemical or electrical safety) — you will work on product development projects and market entries around the globe.

You will conduct research, define legal frameworks, and advise stakeholders on applicable requirements. You will also assess whether products or solutions comply with relevant regulations. In this position, you report to the Manager Product Safety & Compliance.

Main responsibilities:

  • Research and interpret product legislation and standards for new developments and international markets (e.g. China).

  • Prepare product files for internal or external certification approval.
  • Support market-related questions on product safety and contribute to the development of international standards.
  • Develop and deliver training on product legislation and safety compliance.
  • Maintain a network of internal and external contacts to align on international legislation and regulations.

What is your role?
Do you want to help ensure the safety of robots and other innovative products for the dairy farming industry? Are you skilled at translating regulations into practical advice and support for stakeholders such as Business teams, Product Development, and third-party suppliers? Do you take action when safety risks are unacceptable? And do you enjoy collaborating with colleagues across all levels of the organisation in an international environment? Then this is your job!

Main responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver internal training on product legislation.
  • Maintain a network of internal and external contacts for alignment on legal requirements.

What is your experience?
You are structured, self-starting and proactive, with a talent for understanding complex topics quickly. You are precise, persuasive and know how to tailor your communication to different audiences.

You also bring:

  • A bachelor's degree (HBO) in a technical field such as mechanical or mechatronics engineering.
  • Demonstrable experience in machine safety; certifications such as CMSE, CECE or CEFS are a plus.
  • Experience working in project-based environments and independently handling tasks.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • A critical mindset with the ability to convince and drive compliance at all levels of the organisation.
