Role Description
As a Senior Materials Engineer, you will lead technical projects related to raw materials used in advanced medical products. You’ll work closely with suppliers, manufacturing teams, and global partners to ensure quality, capacity, and cost efficiency. The role requires strong engineering expertise, supplier collaboration, and project leadership across sites and time zones.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead material-related supplier projects to improve quality, cost, and delivery.
  • Investigate and resolve complex raw material issues with cross-functional teams.
  • Support new product introductions (NPI) and design changes.
  • Ensure supplier capacity and risk mitigation planning.
  • Apply technical expertise in plastics, tooling, and metrology to drive improvements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (engineering or materials science).
  • 5+ years of experience in supplier, manufacturing, or materials engineering.
  • Experience in injection molding, tool/part design, GD&T, and inspection systems.
  • Strong project management and Lean Six Sigma skills preferred.
  • Familiarity with regulated/GMP environments (medical devices or similar).
  • Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
