As a Crop Care Specialist at our Dinteloord location, you will be responsible for the care of open-field crops such as cabbage, carrots, and radishes, which are grown in insect netting cages inside the greenhouse. At the start of each day, the schedule is shared, and you will be assigned a work location. Tasks vary to keep the work diverse and engaging, ensuring you work on different activities throughout the week.

Your responsibilities include planting crops in designated areas, carefully securing them, and tending to them step by step to ensure optimal growth. As a Crop Care Specialist, you will regularly inspect plants for signs of disease and pests; at the first sign of an issue, you will implement biological pest control measures to prevent further damage. Once the seeds are fully ripe, you will carefully harvest them and prepare them for seed cleaning.

Working hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 07:00 – 16:00
• Friday: 07:00 – 14:00

• You are physically fit.
• You speak Dutch or English.

• A gross hourly wage of €15.72.
• Travel allowance of €0.23 per km.
• A temporary contract for 3 to 6 months.
