Role Description
Are you a multidisciplinary expert who thrives at the intersection of laboratory science and automation? Do you bring deep experience in GxP/GCLP compliance and a drive to innovate complex laboratory workflows? Join our team as a Laboratory Automation Specialist, where your expertise will help revolutionize lab efficiency and compliance through cutting-edge automation.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with lab teams to translate manual workflows into automated solutions.
- Design and program protocols for liquid handling systems (e.g., Tecan, Hamilton, Beckman).
- Support execution of automated experiments with a focus on performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Configure robotic systems and integrate scheduling software for optimized workflows.
- Leverage experience in high-throughput screening and drug target discovery.
- Create and maintain documentation to meet internal standards and regulatory compliance (GxP/GCLP).
- Train lab personnel on automation systems.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Certification in Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and Good Clinical Laboratory Practice (GCLP).
- 10+ years of experience with Tecan and Beckman liquid handlers and scheduling tools.
- Track record in managing automation infrastructure, training users, and driving compliance.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
