The Role

As an Operator Visual Inspection, you will be responsible for manually and automatically inspecting vials of cytostatics (cancer medication) to ensure only the highest quality medicines are released. Working in a clean and controlled environment, you will identify defects such as particles, discoloration, or damage, playing a crucial role in delivering safe and reliable medication to patients worldwide.


Responsibilities
  • Carefully inspect each vial both visually and using automated inspection systems to detect any abnormalities.
  • Accurately report and document any defects or irregularities in the inspection system.
  • Communicate inspection results and abnormalities with your supervisor and quality department as needed.
  • Adhere strictly to GMP guidelines, safety protocols, and hygiene standards throughout the inspection process.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to meet regulatory and company quality standards.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by reporting issues and participating in problem-solving.
  • Follow shift schedules, including 16/5 rotating shifts, and adapt to any changes in working hours.
Requirements
  • MBO3 working and thinking level, preferably with background in engineering, chemistry, or medical fields.
  • Proficient in speaking and reading Dutch.
  • Excellent eyesight and ability to maintain high concentration during repetitive inspection tasks.
  • Ability to work accurately and reliably in a fast-paced, shift-based production environment.
  • Flexible and open to working rotating shifts, currently between 06:00-14:30 and 14:00-22:30.
  • Pharmaceutical knowledge and experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
