The Company
Our client is a top company that makes vaccines and medicines for animals. They've been researching and developing these products for 75 years, focusing on preventing infections in pets and farm animals. They also run the Dutch sales office and are committed to improving animal health worldwide.
Role Description
You will be part of a supportive and collaborative Operations & Facility team that helps the R&D department work smoothly and safely. As a Lab Equipment Coordinator, your job is to manage and maintain laboratory equipment used in research. You will work with different teams to make sure about 1,800 pieces of lab equipment are working well, compliant, and properly documented throughout their life cycle.
Responsibilities
- Manage lab equipment from purchase to retirement
- Write, update, and review equipment procedures
- Make sure all equipment stays validated and in good condition
- Be the main contact for any questions about lab equipment
- Help R&D staff follow equipment procedures
- Work with other departments to improve equipment processes
- Support the GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) team when needed
- Some experience or background in technical or equipment coordination roles
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Able to follow procedures and stay organized
- Proactive attitude and attention to detail
- Comfortable working with different departments
