Your responsibilities

In this role, you will work across C&A’s key markets, the Northwestern region (Germany and Benelux), to embed a performance-driven mindset and foster a culture where leaders and teams can excel. You understand the dynamics of an international organization and thrive in the fast-paced environment of retail. As experienced HR leader, you bring both a strategic view and the ability to hit the ground running, seamlessly switching between big-picture thinking and hands-on execution. Your agility, maturity, and adaptability enable you to navigate complexity, drive results, and ensure performance translates into meaningful business impact.

What you bring

We would be keen to speak to those with a blend of the following skills and capabilities:

  • 12+ Years of HR experience, including several years in a HR leadership position
  • Extensive experience working in an international organization, preferably in Germany, The Netherlands or Belgium
  • Analytical and strong business acumen: ability to align HR strategies with overall business objectives and translate plans to local markets
  • Solid knowledge of employment laws and regulations in one or more of the countries in the region
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Strategic mindset and ability to think critically, but also hands-on
  • Agile, independent and self-reflective
  • Willing to make decisions and cost-conscious
  • Fluency in English, German and/or Dutch are a plus
  • Flexible and willing to travel frequently. The location for this role is in The Hague in the Netherlands, Boomin Belgium or in Dusseldorf, Germany
