What does the job entail?

The Logistics Administrator/transport planner is responsible for accurately inputting orders into the Warehouse Management System (WMS). Upon receiving an order from a customer, you will enter all relevant data into the system, making the order visible to warehouse staff who will begin processing it. You will track the order’s progress until it is dispatched and will maintain communication with warehouse employees, customers, and carriers. Your work will be entirely computer-based, using warehouse and transport management systems (WMS and TMS) as well as Microsoft Office.

Your duties will include:

  • Entering orders into the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
  • Monitoring the execution of orders sent to the warehouse, ensuring compliance with documentation
  • Communicating with customers and carriers regarding the loading and shipment of orders
  • Inputting information into the Transport Management System (TMS)
