This role is an excellent opportunity for a junior finance professional to develop and contribute to the optimization of financial processes and database management and usage. You will be involved in all financial aspects of the company, including monthly reporting for multiple entities and maintaining financial databases.

Description

• Maintaining and managing financial databases with steering business information.
• Optimizing processes for more efficient use of database and financial software.
• Managing the purchasing system software (Exact Proquro).
• Combining datasets in preparation for forecasting and budgeting.
• Analyzing data and identifying potential bottlenecks.
• Serving as the first point of contact for internal questions regarding the database, P2P processes, and financial software (Exact, Lucanet).
• Maintaining the accounting records of various entities.
• Preparing monthly and annual financial and management reports (under guidance).
• Checking the processing of purchase and bank transactions by finance assistants.
• Collecting documentation for accountants (interim and annual closing) and tax advisors (corporate tax return).
• Preparing VAT returns.

Profile

• An enthusiastic and analytically strong finance professional
• At least a completed HBO degree in business administration or a financial-economic direction
• 2 to 3 years of work experience in financial administration, preferably with the full administration of a BV
• Experience within a real estate organization or with a property manager is a plus
• Passion for Excel and affinity with database systems
• Experience with financial software (Exact Online, Exact Proquro, Lucanet)
• Independent, accurate, and curious, with a solution-oriented attitude
• Good communication skills and the drive to improve processes
• Good command of the Dutch and English languages (written and oral)

Their current real estate portfolio includes various hotels, office buildings, and healthcare properties, and they also develop new residential buildings for their own portfolio. Their core activities are investing, (re)developing, and exploiting real estate, with their current portfolio in the Netherlands largely located in the Amsterdam region.
