Description

• Handle daily procurement tasks involving both local and international suppliers
• Take responsibility for purchasing and stock checks across a range of order sizes
• Communicate clearly and effectively with both internal teams and external partners to support business and operational goals
• Participate in regular planning meetings to share updates on expected delivery dates
• Monitor and follow up on purchase orders, ensuring timely and complete deliveries through active supplier contact
• Maintain accuracy in ERP data, particularly related to delivery timelines and pricing
• Manage supplier performance, negotiate effectively, and identify opportunities for cost savings
• Proactively identify and address inefficiencies within procurement processes
• Support and contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives led by the Operations Manager

Profile

• Experience in procurement combined with work preparation is required, with a strong understanding of mechanical engineering drawings and manufacturing processes
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken; knowledge of Dutch or Chinese is an advantage
• Proficient in using standard business software including Excel, Word, Power BI, and the broader Microsoft Office Suite
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics D365 or similar ERP systems is considered a plus
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent level of education is preferred
