The AR Accountant EMEA is responsible for managing and tracking incoming payments, ensuring accurate record-keeping of receivables, and maintaining strong client relationships. This role involves preparing invoices, reconciling accounts, following up on overdue payments, and supporting month-end closing activities.

Description

  • Utilizing NetSuite as the primary accounting system.
  • Reviewing, verifying, and maintaining financial documentation in NetSuite.
  • Monitoring daily accounting entries and transactions.
  • Ensuring activities adhere to company accounting policies.
  • Reviewing, recording, and monitoring sales invoices in collaboration with Customer Service.
  • Tracking and managing outstanding receivables.
  • Processing and verifying credit notes.
  • Overseeing revenue recognition entries.
  • Supporting with monthly & quarterly reporting.
  • Acting as a liaison with the Customer Service department.
  • Collaborating with the Shared Service Center in China.
  • Serving as the first point of contact for client finance inquiries.
  • Supporting and maintaining supplier master data.
  • Providing support for financial reporting and special projects.
  • Assisting with Group and Statutory audits.
  • Supporting sales reporting activities.

Profile

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting (minimum).
  • 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience within a commercial organization, with prior audit experience highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders at various levels.
  • Proven ability to plan, organize, and manage workload efficiently.
  • The highest level of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fluency in English (required), with proficiency in additional European languages being a plus.
  • A social, proactive, committed, accurate, results-driven, and problem-solving mindset.
