Responsible for organising and transporting goods, monitoring warehouse access, ensuring accurate documentation, maintaining high standards of quality and compliance, and proactively improving operations through innovative solutions.
Description
- Load, transport, and unload goods at designated locations.
- Monitor access to the warehouse.
- Handle import and export shipments.
- Verify shipment quantities and inspect for damage.
- Measure and weigh shipments.
- Separate different categories of shipments.
- Maintain the known status of known shipments.
- Manage document flow.
- Instruct PMT Cargo Security on which shipments to screen.
- Report irregularities.
- Maintain and clean the warehouse as needed.
- Report quality issues to the supervisor.
- Ensure compliance with labour and company regulations.
- Develop innovative solutions or new methods to prevent issues or improve operations.
Profile
- Ability to obtain a VGB (Certificate of Good Conduct)
- Work experience in a similar position
- Good command English languages
- Careful and accurate
- Team player
- Willingness to work in shifts (no night and weekend shifts)
