This position reports to the Director Product Management and Business Development and is based at our global business, manufacturing and innovation site in Gorinchem, with the flexibility to work remotely up to two days per week.

As a Product Management Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring strategic direction and operational excellence across the product lifecycle. You'll serve as the bridge between customer needs and internal capabilities—driving innovation, growth, and market success.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Drive Strategy & Execution
  Support the Global Business Director (GBD) in developing and executing short- and long-term product strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Optimize Product Portfolio
  Act as specification owner and subject matter expert. Continuously analyze revenue, profitability, growth potential, and lifecycle stages to drive portfolio decisions.
• Accelerate Market Success
  Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, R&D, Regulatory Affairs, QA/QC, Marketing, Operations, and Business Development to ensure seamless product delivery and successful market introductions.
• Strengthen Pricing Strategy
  Assist in pricing model implementation and working capital guidelines to balance profitability with competitiveness.
• Support Innovation & Product Launches
  Evaluate new product requests, support innovation programs, and contribute to product launches that align with strategic goals.
• Forecasting & Planning
  Provide input to production planning and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), supporting efficient and reliable supply chain operations.

What You Bring

• Education & Experience
  Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience.
  At least 2 years of experience in technical sales, R&D, procurement, pricing, or other commercial/technical roles, ideally in a regional or international context.
• Analytical & Strategic Thinking
  Skilled in interpreting complex data and translating insights into actionable strategies.
• Collaborative Mindset
  Comfortable navigating a matrix organization and working across departments to align goals and deliver results.
• Entrepreneurial Drive
  Proactive, hands-on, and self-motivated with a strong ownership mentality and a focus on execution.
