Do you love managing and motivating people? Logistics and warehousing is your passion? We are looking for a Team Leader in one of our sites in Venray (Fashion customer - 2-shifts)

In a team of several Team leaders, you work closely together with various departments within the organization. You are also responsible for the appraisal and coaching of your employees and you guide them through change processes. You are responsible for quality and productivity, and you coordinate operational activities within your department. You are also involved in setting up a sharp staffing and you ensure proper time registration.

What you do on a typical day:

• Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for the assigned department, reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager.
• Make day-to-day operational decisions to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
• Plan and allocate resources effectively, managing absenteeism and coordinating with customer service and transport departments.
• Lead and manage a team of Coordinators and Warehouse staff, ensuring optimal performance and team development. 

What do you need to succeed at GXO

• You have previous experience in a managerial or leading position, within a logistics environment ideally and are flexibel to work in 3-shifts
• You have strong communication skills in English (Dutch language is nice to have)
• You possess analytical thinking skills
• You have an enthusiastic and flexible attitude, and are a self-starter
• You have a good knowledge of MSOffice suite and WMS functionality. Reflex familiarity is very nice to have.
